About Truck Art
Indian roads and highways are made more beautiful and vastly more colorful by the trucks that run on them. Every truck is bedecked with hand-painted art and symbols which are common across all trucks and yet each time they are painted, they have a unique character. Familiar motifs that reappear frequently are the eagle on a globe, Horn OK Please, the holy cow, the peacock, placid landscapes, gods and goddesses, and superstitious symbols. Often the truck-owners’ own philosophical mottos or poetic discourses find place at the sides and back of their trucks. The origin of some of the motifs is obscure, and the truck owners use the motifs as an unquestioned continuation of tradition. The colors are bright and primary, making massive trucks seem like bright toys on dust-colored highways. The unique Truck Art style is a testament to the truck owners’ love for their brightly decorated homes. This game is an attempt to bring attention to popular regional art forms, some of which are threatened by the digital revolution.

Truckopoly
The Trucking Industry of India has played a major role in the Indian trade and commerce for decades.
Truckopoly — a variant of the popular board game monopoly is adapted and designed on the basis of the truck industry of India. The objective of the game is to become the wealthiest truck owner through buying, renting and selling property and goods across the country. The game involves various rules that have to be followed by the truck drivers while transporting goods from one city to another. The challenge is to stay on the top while incurring losses in the form of fines and penalties.
Truckopoly is for players above the age of 8 and is aimed at educating them about the business realities of the trucking industry of India. Inspired by the truck art of India, the design of Truckopoly brings alive the vibrant and flamboyant expression of the popular culture. The tokens used to play the game are miniature handmade trucks made out of clay. Instead of buying houses and hotels in monopoly, this game will let players own branch offices (offices within the city for booking and delivery of goods) and warehouses (bigger distribution centers outside the city). Instead of railroads, players can buy petrol pumps, and the income and luxury taxes have been transformed to National Permit tax and Fitness tax.
The motifs and decorations on the board and packaging reflects the popular truck culture of India.

Gartrac G6 Escort
The G6 was devised by Gartrac as a road going spin off to the successful G3 & G4 rally & rally cross cars.
Most of the cars produced were rear wheel drive with a 2.8 V6 engine and a Capri / Atlas rear axle. The body shell was very similar to the rally car - the only real difference was the road car did not have four link suspension, it ran with a anti tramp bar set up.
Three cars were produced with 4WD; this employed the running gear, engine and gearbox from a 4x4 Sierra. Gartrac did also produce a few cabriolet versions. Around thirty G6's were produced in total, although many copies were produced around this period.
The Gartrac G6 at the time had phenomenal acceleration and performance and married with unique looks and clever design features really stood out from the crowd. Both Dave & Bill had G6's as company cars back then and were forever being stopped by the police, so they could just take a closer look at the car!

Bugatti Veyron Sang Noir
The Sang Noir has a special edition version from the Bugatti 16.4. Veyron has given its share to the legendary Bugatti Atlantique 57S. Different from the Veyron, Veyron has included a black-themed exterior and a different grille, side mirrors, and new unique wheel with an orange interior.
Reaching 0-60 mph is no stranger to this car in less than 2.6 seconds, with a top speed of 253 mph. A new engine has been brought in called the Quad-Turbo W16 and a torque that has been weighed 922 lb-ft @ 2200 rpm.
Pagani Huayra
This car lacks all that is old world charm. While it can be a bit too flashy to actually be supercool, it is still a new kind of beauty, with a radical design and awesome performance. This Pagani can hit 0-60 in three seconds, with a top speed of 220. It will be in the market at $1.3 million dollars, not all of us will be able to afford one. Ultimately, its novelty and uniqueness makes it the new kid that everyone wants to meet.

Hamann BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe
The guys at Hamann Motorsport sent us this rendering of an upcoming package for the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe. It is only a single image concept for now, but we are sure to receive more when it is officially revealed to the public. The BMW sports car features several new aerodynamic parts, including a new front bumper, hood, side skirts, rear bumper, boot lid spoiler and plenty of air vents throughout. The new set of alloy wheels along with an aftermarket suspension kit give it the aggressive stance all tuning enthusiasts strive for. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Hamann tuning project without the proper performance modifications, so stay tuned to see what this BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe is capable of.
Novitec Rosso Ferrari F12 Berlinetta
Here is the first performance package for the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta that has been prepared by Novitec Rosso. With some standard engine tuning they were able to increase the power output from 740 HP to 763 horsepower at 8,500 rpm. Torque was raised from the from the factory 509 lb-ft to 518 lb-ft torque at 6,300 rpm. The Ferrari F12 is now able to reach 340 km/h or 211 mph after these tweaks.
Novitec Rosso obtained these figures with better management of the Ferrari 6.2-liter V12 powerplant. After the performance modifications were in check, they hooked it up with some 21-inch rims at the front and 22-inchers at the rear. These come wrapped in high performance Pirelli tires measuring 255/30ZR21 and 335/25/ZR22 respectively.
Final customizations to the F12 Berlinetta are sport springs to lower the luxury exotic up to 40 millimeters, while the front can be raised or lowered with a push of a button. This helps owners clear speed bumps and nasty potholes to protect their supercar. Novitec Rosso plans to offer an aerodynamic body kit and additional engine upgrades for the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta in the near future.

Spotted !! The facelifted Mercedes E63 AMG
This picture of a range-topping E63 AMG was taken by an eagle-eyed member of the public outside a hotel in Madrid, and the design changes – which will apply to cars across the range – are plain to see.
Most notable is the switch from quad headlights to single units either side of the narrower and slimmer grille. The daytime running lamps are built into the headlights, rather than the front bumper, and there are new bumpers front and rear, plus fresh LED tail-lights. And the powerful crease around the rear wheelarch has been axed in favour of a pair of simple parallel lines.
Inside are new instruments and a wider choice of trims, plus the latest version of Mercedes’ on-board infotainment system.
The basic engine range will remain largely unchanged, with emissions reduced slightly. This E63 AMG will top the line-up, featuring a 537bhp 5.5-litre V8, while there are rumours a fuel-sipping 156bhp 1.6-litre turbo could launch when the car goes on sale in the spring.
Baaaaaaaad !!
New Mercedes E-Class
First official pictures and details have been released of the 2013 Mercedes E-Class range.
Mercedes has given its E-Class a sharp new look. The facelifted saloon and estate will debut at the Detroit Motor Show in January before going on sale in April.
These flank a larger, more upright grille, and for the first time on the E-Class, the three-pointed star badge is in the centre. Models fitted with the optional AMG package also get a much larger grille than before.
Gone are the pronounced, Bentley-style pontoons around the rear wheelarches. These are now reserved for the E-Class Coupe and Convertible, which will also debut at Detroit, alongside a firebreathing 550bhp E63 AMG.
Inside are new seats, improved trim materials and revised air vents. Plus, the gear selector on auto models moves from between the seats to a column shifter on the right-hand side of the steering wheel, as on the S-Class.
Nice looking facelift !
