Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo iBusiness S-Class

Check out the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo iBusiness S-Class which according to Brabus is the fastest and most powerful luxury sedan in the world with 850 hp, 1,450 Nm, 350 km/h top speed and exclusive multimedia equipment.

The “iBusiness ” infotainment system is based on state-of-the-art components from Apple such as iPad, Mac mini, iPod touch and Apple TV, which are controlled and coordinated via the newly developed Brabus Remote app. In addition, the iBusiness system was designed to allow control of all functions of the COMAND system of the Mercedes S-Class from the rear seats using an iPad mini, how sick is that !!

The Brabus 850 iBusiness also include a sporty-elegant designer outfit for the body, forged Brabus Platinum Edition 21-inch wheels, a high-performance braking system with carbon-ceramic discs and an exquisite, two-tone all-leather interior.

The Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo high-capacity engine is also new, based on the old 63 AMG but with an increased displacement to 5'912 cc's which took all of their engineers 35 years of knowledge and skill. New parts were developed and the block and cylinder heads were re worked too.

Increasing the eight cylinder bores to 99 millimeters allows the use of special forged pistons with modified surface contours to achieve an even more efficient combustion. They are connected by billet piston rods to the precision-balanced billet crankshaft with a stroke of 96 mm.

Two massive specially manufactured Brabus turbochargers with larger compressor unit and modified exhaust manifolds are then strapped on get the huge 265 hp increase over the standard engine. All exhaling through the metal catalysts with 75-millimeter-thick downpipes and the Brabus stainless-steel sport exhaust.

The Brabus installations on the inhale side is the newly designed Brabus 850 intake manifold for the eight-cylinder four-valve engine. It includes a larger air filter box with enlarged intake cross section, which gets its air supply via a special air duct in the hood. Also part of the package is the carbon-fiber intake pipe with larger diameter, which was positioned behind the new fascia directly exposed to the relative wind.

The whole thing is then re mapped on the Brabus high-tech engine test rigs and during road tests coordinate all high-performance components perfectly. This benefits not only a monster power increase, but also the outstanding throttle response and refinement of the engine across the entire rev range.

The performance data of the Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo high-capacity engine is mind boggling: the V8 produces its peak power of 850 hp at a low 5,400 rpm.

That means: 0-100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h. The transmission either sorts the gears automatically or allows drivers to shift manually using the aluminum shift paddles on the steering wheel.

All this ends with an exhaust note that is just stunning. The Brabus sport exhaust system with controlled butterfly valve allows the driver at the push of a button on the steering wheel to decide either a discreet note or full blown mental !!

The Brabus iBusiness multimedia system incorporates an iPad mini tablet into the rear compartment between the two individual rear seats which has a docking station for hook up and recharge. This then hooks up to a Mac mini that serves as a mainframe. The Brabus programmers then developed the innovative Brabus Remote app to facilitate communication between the individual modules of the multimedia equipment.

A 15.2-inch color TFT display with an aspect ratio of 16:9 serves as the central monitor for the iPad minis and the other multimedia devices that are hooked up and is situatted in the headliner. At night the headliner can be illuminated by a multitude of fiber-optic lights to resemble a starry sky. You then have the standard screens in the back of the front head rests to watch TV.

High-speed USB 3.0 ports integrated into the rear compartment allow connecting additional devices such as a digital camera to the Mac mini. The Brabus 850 “iBusiness” uses state-of-the-art wireless technology to connect to the internet.

Built in iPod touch takes care of your in car tunes with 64 gigs of memory it offers enough storage capacity for more than 14,000 tunes. The sound is reproduced by the Burmester high-end audio system and sounds awesome !

Rolls Royce Wraith Coupe

Get your wallets out chaps as you will want the Rolls Royce Wraith Coupe, it's based on the Double 'R' Ghost sedan and it looks baaaaaaad !!!

The Wraith is definitely not discreet, it’s more of a “fuck off, you cant afford this” car. It’s a stunning looking car and if I had a rich dad or I was a CEO of a large bank or just sold loads of cocaine at the weekends and “required” a luxury coupe, I’d definitely choose the Wraith over a Bentley Continental GT just to be different.

The Wraith coupe is all about luxury but it's also got a stonking engine, which makes it quick, even though it's a tad on the heavy side, but then you buy a Lambo for your quick trips.

The Rolls Royce Wraith is powered by a twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 624 horsepower and 590 pound-feet (800 Nm) of torque. It's equipped with an 8-speed automatic gearbox but it’s no ordinary gearbox. The gearbox shifts gears with the help of “Satellite Aided Technology”, using GPS to pre-select the gear you’ll be shifting into, based on the road ahead using data from the GPS.
How mental is that ?

The Wraith coupe does 0 – 60 mph in an acceptable 4.4 seconds, I guess that magic GPS transmission really does work.

The interior on the Wraith is filled with typical Rolls Royce luxury. Most surfaces are covered with either leather, chrome, or some very expensive looking wood. The headliner features 1,340 fiber optic lights that glow, giving the feeling of a night sky… bit naff, if you ask me and not really needed in a car that costs more than most average persons gaff.

Mansory Carbonado: Black Diamond

Mansory Carbonado “Black Diamond” is a model based on the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 limited to just six specimens. Carbon as far as the eye can see: the ultra-light and ultra-strong material of carbon is already present in abundance in the standard version of the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4.

In the Mansory Carbonado model, of which only six specimens are being manufactured, MANSORY continues to use the material consistently as the main component of all its bodywork elements. Each individual element of the MANSORY aerodynamic design is produced with perfect surface finish using the prepeg autoclave method and then built seamlessly into the car. And so the Aventador is transformed into the MANSORY CARBONADO, the most exclusive carbon compound found on the roads – the Black Diamond of the streets.

Pagani Huayra

Ancient legends tell of Aymara Huayra Tata, god of wind, which controls the breezes, the winds and hurricanes that affect the mountains, ravines and slopes of the Andean cordillera. It is said that Tata Huayra living in the hills and valleys left them just to show his strength to his wife, Pachamama, the goddess of Mother Earth.

With its power, the god of the wind Huayra Tata may raise the waters of Lake Titicaca and turn them into rain that pours on the fertile Pachamama. Tata Huayra When resting, the waters are calm and the rivers. But the calm before the storm is about to be discontinued.

The style of the car has been perfected over five years to give each line a clear beginning and an equally clear view. Hundreds of drawings, scale models and eight two-size, that even keeping the basic design concept, we have gradually refined the shape and substance. This was achieved through meticulous attention to detail that has resulted in a continuous and exhausting search for proportion and elegance.

The all-new monocoque central Huayra is built in carbon-titanium, with its gull-wing doors that include a good portion of the roof. The research focused on the application of advanced composite materials and technologies first tested on the Zonda R, to achieve the highest levels of rigidity combined with maximum lightness.

The tank is positioned in the most protected of the camper behind the pilot, reinforced by a safety cell made of different composite materials and ballistics. The semi-chrome-moly frames provide a stiffness to weight ratio allowing the suspension to work exceptionally well and to incorporate an advanced absorption of energy, ready to protect occupants in case of impact.

The constant quest for weight reduction has led to an ingenious combination of aesthetic, structural and otherwise. One example comes from the pipes of the cooling and air conditioning: the ambitious choice of integrating them into the monocoque structure has rendered superfluous the inclusion of additional components. The result of the reduction program is summed up in a vehicle weight of 1350 kg which makes lighter Huayra the supercar segment.

Mercedes-AMG provides the heart of Huayra. The 12-cylinder biturbo engine with 60 ° V? with 5980 cm3 has been developed to meet not only the technical application and the strictest quality aspects, but also to give the car its dual character. The calm and harmony that are perceived to drive one of GT’s finest today are interrupted when the pilot called Huayra to unleash its power over 700 hp and a torque of over 1000 Nm.

The turbines are designed to offer an immediate response to the minimum stress of the butterfly, giving the driver complete control over the power at any speed and preventing unwanted delays in disbursement. The two radiators on the sides of the mouth anterior ensure the best cooling efficiency of the intercooler located above the cylinder head. This cooling system at low temperature is designed to operate in adverse conditions of Death Valley with temperatures above 50 ° C.

The dry sump lubrication also feeds the engine when the car is subject to extreme lateral accelerations. Also regulates the oil flow so that only the required quantity of lubricant is pumped into the engine from the external tank, reducing the friction caused by an excessive volume of fluid inside the base.

The dry-sump oil pan makes obsolete the conventional one, allowing you to mount the engine and have a lower center of gravity away from less land. A heat exchanger oil / water reduces engine warm during cold start and keeps the refrigerant and lubricant temperatures stable. Extensive weight reduction programs have resulted in simple yet ingenious solutions. In order to limit as much as possible to pipe connections and the expansion tank is mounted directly on the engine.

Bulkheads intercooler act as reservoirs of the expansion of low-temperature circuit and the engine coolant circuit. The M158 engine is certified to the strictest environmental regulations and EU5 LEV2 and, despite a significant increase in power compared to engine developed by Mercedes-AMG in the past for Pagani, fuel consumption and thus CO2 emissions have been killed so that Huayra holds the record among female athletes to 12 cylinders, with values close to cars on the market of displacements and lower powers.

The large 85-liter tank ensures a longer range travel. The power system in two stages with no return has two power pumps that send fuel to the engine by activating the second pump when needed. To further increase the demand for fuel efficiency is controlled by a microprocessor on each pump, releasing the required amount from the engine control at any particular time.

This reduces the energy needed to operate the fuel pump and eliminates the waste of excessive fuel transport and heating ducts of gasoline. As a tribute to the decade-old tradition of Mercedes-AMG to build engines in the world for sports cars, the M158 boasts the historic AMG emblem on the intake manifold along with the name of the technician cha has hand-assembled at the headquarters Mercedes-AMG Affalterbach to Germany.

The titanium exhaust system has been engineered by MHG-Fahrzeugtechnik and is a direct application of technologies racing on a high-performance road car. The hydroformed junctions have been developed to reduce the pressure and ensure a free flow of exhaust gases. Titanium offers a limited role in the silencer while offering reliability Iconel exhaust parts most exposed to high temperatures.

The bi-xenon headlights, a prestigious heritage of the Zonda R and LED daytime running lights are harmoniously integrated into the elliptical shape of the mouth front. The integrated rear bumper diffuser dominated by an elliptical frame that surrounds and enhances the four tailpipes, a symbol of continuity and a characteristic feature of the mark Pagani.

The power and enormous torque is transferred to the wheels via a seven-speed sequential gearbox cross and a dual-disc clutch. The adoption of a dual-clutch in oil bath was discarded because it would lead to an increase in weight over 70 kg, negating the advantage of a changed little faster.

The entire transmission weighs 96 kg. Its small size made it possible to reduce the rear overhang, providing a more neutral behavior in extreme conditions and improving safety in the event of a rear crash. Xtrac, already supplies the changing of the Zonda R, was therefore the natural choice for the development of a road exchange high performance. For Huayra was made a change that provides a level of comfort combined with a high rate of change comparable to that of a car on the track.

“Power is nothing without control” following this famous slogan, Pirelli engineers have been faced with the demanding task of combining a perfect grip, and an exciting driving experience less rolling resistance to reduce CO2 emissions . It is in Pirelli P Zero tires, developed, built inside “MIRS” Modular Integrated Robotized System, the department dedicated to producing high-performance tires and designed to ensure complete control of the pilot. Designed to fit Huayra, transcend the state of the art, suitable as never before at speeds above 370 km / h with lateral forces than 1.5 G.

Think Huayra as a wing, able to actively change its angle of attack by changing the height of the front from the ground and operating independently of the four flaps placed at its ends. The result is that the machine constantly change its shape, from time to time to ensure the minimum friction coefficient and the maximum downforce. A commanding this unit is a dramatic metamorphosis, which receives and processes information about speed, yaw rate, lateral acceleration, steering angle and throttle position, and act so as to obtain a car from neutral behavior in all conditions, the correct aerodynamic roll and braking.

Over the past four years Pagani have conducted their tests with prototypes for over five hundred thousand kilometers. Before entering the U.S. market they will have one million tracks. Each prototype was assigned to a specific development: Mercedes-AMG uses one for the study of driving and one for the reduction of emissions of the engines, and a third car is constantly at Bosch Engineering to implement ABS, stability advanced and systems performance improvement, while another vehicle is dedicated to the development of exchange and the dynamic behavior.

As soon as the doors close Huayra transports its occupants to a new dimension, a world of meaning, to satisfy and surprise the sight, smell, touch and emotion. The driver will find all the primary functions on the steering wheel. The paddles are mounted directly on the steering gear so you can change without taking your hands off the steering wheel.

The seats provide comfort for long journeys but also the lateral support given the enormous lateral forces that the car is able to develop. Driving means driving a Pagani state of the art without forgetting the roots and history. The eye can not dwell on the leather laces and a spinner on the switches, then lost the manual transmission, shiny sculpture that embodies progress and tradition.

The aluminum panel was inspired by the most sophisticated Swiss watches and includes a central multi-function display that shows information relevant driving in sport mode and a trip computer when you select the Comfort mode. The center console aluminum is machined from a single block of anticorodal and inspired by the keys of a clarinet, with push buttons for controlling the heating and air conditioning. The central touch screen high-definition multimedia system is the heart of the vehicle for the control of audio functions, satellite navigation, Bluetooth phone and secondary functions.

The car fully respects the most exacting standards of Europe and the United States in terms of safety and environment. In addition, specific research has been conducted to study the dynamics most often involving this type of car accident. Several cars were used to validate these tests. The survey showed that the evaluations have led us to apply concepts of construction not specifically required by law but how to improve occupant protection.

What an amazing car !!

Facelift E63 AMG Wagon !!

Check The Facelift E63 AMG !

Following the recent reveal of its new 2014 E Class range, including the new Coupe and Cabriolet models, Mercedes-Benz has now taken the wraps off the model we’ve been dying to see, the 2014 E63 AMG high-performance sedan and wagon.

The high level of anticipation was due to the aggressive new styling AMG promised to deliver on its new E63, and after a quick glance at these initial shots we’re glad to see the Affalterbach tuner has stayed true to its word.

The latest E63 AMG features the most aggressive lines we’ve seen yet on one of its models, particularly the front section which now mimics the look of a DTM race car. Key elements include the new ‘twin blade’ radiator grille and a new ‘A-wing’ front bumper.

The big news, however, is the addition of 4Matic all-wheel drive on the E63 AMG, which for customers in the U.S. will be standard. That’s right; the car won’t be available with rear-wheel drive for customers in AMG’s most important market.

AMG is keen to stress that its version of 4Matic isn’t the same as Mercedes’ system, but is instead a lighter and more performance-oriented setup. The 2014 E63 AMG represents the tuner’s latest step towards a full all-wheel-drive lineup as a response to the ever increasing amounts of power and torque with each new model introduction.

Another change in the lineup is the addition of a new range-topping S-Model. Its output registers at a heady 577 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. The regular model, meanwhile, also sees its output rise to 550 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque.

The car’s cousin, the CLS63 AMG, also gets standard all-wheel drive in the States, as well as the availability of the new S-Model.

Delivering all that power is once again AMG’s twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V-8, which is matched to the AMG Speedshift seven-speed automatic transmission. Four transmission modes are available, "C" (Controlled Efficiency), "S" (Sport), "S+" (Sport plus) and "M" (Manual), along with rev-matching on downshifts and launch control.

The quickest model, the E63 AMG 4Matic S-Model Sedan, needs just 3.5 seconds for the 0-60 mph sprint and can easily reach its limited top speed of 186 mph.

AMG’s 4Matic all-wheel-drive system features a 33-67 front-rear torque split, offering the rear-biased feel we all love but with the added traction of all-wheel-drive when roads get slippery. The system relies on a transfer case integrated with the gearbox. Torque is transferred to the front wheels via a second drive shaft and front differential. The added weight of the system is approximately 154 pounds.

The three-stage electronic stability is specifically calibrated to this 4Matic system. In "Sport Handling" mode torque vectoring using brake pressure is applied to individual wheels, helping to alleviate the understeer typical of all-wheel-drive vehicles.

Mercedes-AMG goes even one step further on the E63 AMG 4Matic S-Model. This model also gets a limited-slip rear differential.

All models, meanwhile, get adaptive suspension, controllable by the AMG Drive Unit fitted inside the cabin. Here the driver has the choice of "Comfort" or "Sport" or "Sport plus” modes.

Also aiding the handling of the E63 AMG is a 1.9-inch wider track compared to the regular E Class on which it’s based, AMG-tuned electric power steering, 19-inch AMG light alloys and an available carbon-ceramic brake package.

Inside, you’ll find plush materials, grippy sport seats, and plenty of carbon fiber and aluminum trim to remind you of the car’s sporting prowess. The grip areas of the black Nappa leather steering wheel rim with flattened top and bottom is finished in Alcantara with gray contrasting seams.

A redesigned AMG instrument cluster replaces the standard unit, and is joined by an IWC-inspired analog clock and an available Bang & Olufsen premium sound system with 14 speakers.

First sales of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG sedan and wagon commence this summer, but in the meantime stay tuned for our live photos and video of the car following its debut next week at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.

Mercedes Benz CLA

Daimler's new compact four-door coupe shows up a touch ahead of schedule, and it's looking all the better for it.
Mercedes found a real hit on its hands with the CLS-Class. The trouble is that not everyone can afford such an extravagance. Sure, not everyone can afford a Mercedes, period, but the German automaker is going after a wider demographic with smaller, more cost-effective models. Like this one. Called the CLA, it's the four-door coupe version of the new A-Class. But while the hatchback version will remain restricted to overseas markets, the CLA is designed with American buyers in mind. And this is our first proper look at the design.

Previewed by the Concept Style Coupe, the CLA cuts a svelte and stylish profile. Although there were no details leaked along with these images, we can see it has remained as faithful to the showcar as you could reasonably expect, with lines that look like they've been drawn in liquid metal before it's seized into shape over the chassis. It's also got that nifty perforated grille Benz has been playing with, and from the looks of that last image, a few customization options for the interior. Expect a range of engines driving through a new 4Matic all-wheel drive system Mercedes has developed for this platform, to be topped by the CLA45 AMG.
